1973 HARLEY-DAVIDSON ELECTRA- GLIDE FLH I am proud to offer my amazing 1973 HARLEY-DAVIDSON ELECTRA-GLIDE FLH to you for sale . It is an all numbers matching, 9835 original mile example that has to be seen to appreciate . My Father and Mother (SYL & MILDRED ) purchased the bike @ Harley-Davidson of Las Vegas on April 28, 1973. My Mother was fanatic about keeping every single douument & item that came with the bike when purchased new, and Mom kept meticulous records . I went with my Mother to pick up the bike at the dealership when it arrived. It had 3.2 miles on the odometer. I was 18 yrs. old when I road it home. My Father cherished his new Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide and only road it once or twice a month. Dad would only ride it when I could ride by his side . Finally in 1983, Dad gave me his prized Harley. The bike had 2100 miles on the odometer. I had several motorcycles at the time so I only road it on special occasions. The bike has been garaged its entire life, has never fallen over or been damaged in any way, and as of November 2016 it has only 9835 original miles on the odometer . All of the paint is 100% original no touch up whatsoever! There is only one scratch on the right side of the gas tank, and a couple of minor scatches & rubs on the fairing, etc., as can be expected with an original motorcycle that is nearly 44 years old. These are things that could have easily been touched up but I was adament to keep this classic bike just as original as humanly possible. Overall condition is absolutely amazing and as original as they come, period! The black paint w/silver strobe stripe is such a classic paint scheme and has been my favorite factory paint design. In October 2014, I decided to go through the bike from front to back, cleaning things up and making sure that all mechanical functions were 100%. This extensive job included: complete flushing of the system (engine,oil tank & transmission), replaced oil lines, OEM clamps, new oil presure sending unit, new bushings for handlebars, rebuilt master cyclinders, rebuilt brake calipers, new brake lines, new brake pads, new front fork tubes and seals, new clutch cable, new choke cable, new petcock and fuel line, rebuilt original carb, new battery, new starter relay. The motor and transmission remained in the frame and were never taken apart or disassembled at all. After completing the extensive cleaning and maintenance job, the bike was filled with w/Revtech 25w-60 oil and turned over but not started. No fuel has been put in bike since. The new owner can take delivery like it is or we can put fuel in it and have it in perfect running order. New OEM style tires were mounted on the bike, but the original tires (which are in exceptional condition for their age) will of course go to to the new owner. Other original dealer- installed accessories included are: handlebar mounted radio/speaker box, AMF alarm (new in box), & passenger seat for luggage rack. This beautiful 1973 HARLEY-DAVIDSON

The range is divided in to two distinct model variants. The XR series are optimised for road use, while the XC models thrive in more rugged terrain, but both are equally happy when the roles are reversed. The unique-in-class 1215cc triple engine delivers more power, more torque and improved fuel consumption, smoothly and progressively across the whole rev range. TRIUMPH SEMI ACTIVE SUSPENSION (TSAS) The new Tiger Explorer s performance is given a new level of dynamism on the XCx,XCA,XRx &amp; XRt models with the addition of the ground-breaking Triumph Semi Active Suspension System. This allows the rider to electronically control the adjustment of the front and rear suspension damping, automatically adapting the rear shock absorber pre-load settings to reflect the terrain being covered and load carried, to provide optimal grip and drive in any situation. The system uses an inertial measurement unit which incorporates 3 gyros and 3 accelerometers to continuously measure the bike's roll, pitch and yaw as well as longitudinal &amp; lateral accelerations. The chassis central unit then uses this information, along with suspension position, swing arm position, wheel speed sensors, brake pressure and twist grip, to calculate the damping settings. All designed to deliver an engaged, confidence inspiring ride. RIDER MODES The new Tiger Explorer family makes full use of Triumph s impressive Rider Mode technology to offer a choice of up to five Rider Modes, four which are pre-set and one which can be programmed by the rider which alters the configuration of the bike to suit riding style, road and weather conditions. Each Rider Mode changes the engine map, the levels of ABS and Traction Control, and where fitted, the damping set-up of the TSAS system and power. Rider Modes: ROAD Maximises comfort and riding pleasure, particularly over long distances. The ABS and Traction Control settings ensure great stability and optimise braking on paved surfaces. The engine map is set to make the most of the smooth delivery of power over asphalt or similar surfaces. The TSAS (if fitted) will provide the optimal setting for road use. 2016 Triumph Scrambler, 2016 Triumph Scrambler In the 1960s, far from civilisation and regular roads, stripped down desert bikes based on Triumph twins and fitted with high level exhausts, dirt bike tyres and suspension were being used for hard recreational fun and competition on tough terrain. The Scrambler takes its inspiration from these very bikes. They were highly competitive and most famously were used by Hollywood superstar Steve McQueen for pleasure and in full competition. Including the 1964 International Six Day Trial (ISDT) in East Germany. We built the Scrambler to evoke that spirit of freedom and escape, carefree times when all you needed was a bike and somewhere to ride. Features may include: The Look Lean and basic, just as the originals were, the Scrambler reflects the look of 1960s Triumph twins, converted by their owners for off-road riding in deserts and open scrubland where the power of the engines could be used to the full. With its cut down mudguards and black engine finish, the Scrambler has a classic, rebellious style that is loved by so many riders. Engine Based on our Bonneville the Scrambler's engine is the classically styled parallel twin, as handsome as those 1960s originals, fitted into a tubular steel cradle frame, just as it should be. Exhaust High level twin chromed stainless steel exhaust pipes and evocative heat shields are inspired by the 1960s Triumph TR6C Trophy Special. Wheel The wheels are wire-spoke with black rims and hubs and wear dual-purpose tyres. The front is 19 inches in diameter to give that authentic off-road look. Performance For the Scrambler we retuned the 865cc eight-valve engine to give you more torque at very low revs. It peaks at a strong 68Nm at 4750rpm but keeps producing useful thrust much lower than that, with 90 per cent of its torque on tap from as low as 2500rpm. The power maximum is 59PS, enough for you to get up to all kinds of fun. Configuration Powered by a special version of our twin-cylinder Bonneville engine, the Scrambler is air-cooled and styled like the 1960s originals yet quietly bristling with 21st century technology to ensure it's efficient, durable and easy to use. Each cylinder has four valves, all operated by double overhead cams making for quieter operation, more accurate valve control and high rev reliability. And the exhaust meets all noise emission regulations but it's free breathing with a note that gives the Scrambler its unique character. So you get a proven and reliable engine, which is the most fuel efficient in our range.
