<br />Ive never been much of a bike guy, Im a huge car nut, however I decided in Nov of 2016 to buy a brand new 2016 690 Duke from Ducati of Beverly Hills. I thought of the canyons, the out doors etc.. however, I never got around to it.. <br /><br />This bike only has 700miles on it, I had KTM do the break-in service a few months ago at 600mi. Im not a fast rider, I dont take curves hard, I rarely rev the bike up, I cant do wheelies or any other tricks.. This bike has been babied since day one. The tires are basically brand new, same goes for brakes and practically everything else. I spent 90% of the time modifying her, and 10% of the time riding her. </b><br /><br /><br />Modifications / Add-ons<br /><br />1. 2016 KTM Duke EVO Kit + Tune. (Evo Airbox + KN Filter, Evo Block Plates, Evo Evap System Removal, Evo ECU Tune) <br /><br />2. KTM Track Mode Ecu Program + Brake Dongle (This allows the bike to have 3 modes, Rain/Street/Sport, it also allows for Traction control and ABS to be toggled, and also for Super Moto Mode allowing Rear brake lock-up for drifts)<br /><br />3. Scotts Damper. (I used the brackets from another kit, then went to Scotts Damper shop in CA and had them retrofit their Damper to work with the bracket... This Scotts Damper is 100% Real, Functional and Safe) Works Amazing.. Keeps the bars solid at speed, no tank slap or shake, and does wonders over gravel and rough terrain. I believe im the Only one with a true proper functional damper<br /><br />4. I had Ktm cut the handle bars slightly shorter (Approx .5in both sides.. They stick out way to far from the factory like a dirt bike and are terrible for traffic. Modified, they are now are much more bike appropriate and feel very natural)<br /><br />5. Rear Extended Fender Removal Kit (This kit kept the OEM blinkers and Brake light, and removed the ugly extended fender section)<br /><br />6. Coolant Mod for Summer (These bikes all over heat in traffic and high summer temps, I replaced the coolant with a Distilled Water + Water Wetter + 30% glycol mix. It dropped the temps down Significantly, and it now runs only 4 bars instead of the avg 5, and NEVER over heats, not in traffic or even 100 degree weather)<br /><br />7. Remus Sport Exhaust + Custom Heat Wrapped Pipes. Huge improvement on heat dissipation. It no longer heats the radiator and you can even touch it by hand when hot. Very safe for yourself and passengers.<br /><br />8. Cyclops 3800 Lumen LED H4 Headlight kit<br /><br />9. KTM Tinted Windshield Add-on<br /><br />10. Blacked Out Shorty Handle Bar Ends (These dont stick out like the OEM ones)<br /><br />11. Swapped and Flipped OEM Mirrors (They sit lower and look much better on the bike.
